CBD in Your Pocket

People often ask if it is safe to walk around with CBD in your pocket or handbag, or take it to work or college for that matter. It’s a question that stems from concerns about CBD’s legal status, and many people are still unclear about the relationship between CBD and it’s THC infused cousin, marijuana. The key difference is the THC, which is the intoxicating element of the plant. Ingestion of or smoking THC will leave a person feeling ‘high’ and is not widely legal for public consumption.

CBD is not however made from marijuana but comes from the hemp plant. Although there are some CBD oils on the market that do contain a very small amount of THC, it is not enough to intoxicate the user. If you are concerned about confusion or possible trace elements of THC then it is important that you buy only CBD isolate.

This CBD has been extracted through a sophisticated process that completely isolates the CBD compound and insures there is zero THC in the product. Not all countries have legalised CBD however, so if you are travelling (particularly in Africa and Asia) be sure to check on the legal status of CBD before you find yourself breaking the law.
