Cannabis THC without CBD is found to have more adverse health affects

We know by now that the cannabis plant is complex but we are also learning that it’s best known cannabinoids tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBD) have a complex relationship with each other. A study on memory in young adults showed that taking cannabis without CBD contributed to short-term memory loss. Yet CBD was shown to have promising results for aiding memory loss.

Similarly, THC is linked to the onset of psychosis whereas CBD is being found to be a viable way to treat mental health issues like psychosis. However when it comes to mixing substances, alcohol and cannabis are no-no. Using them in combination has a negative impact on memory and overall mental wellbeing while also increasing risky behaviours.
