Growth of Cannabis Testing

March 25, 20211 min read

Impeccable testing of cannabis products is a win for both the industry and the consumer. The only participants in the chain who are compromised by more and better testing are  CBD product sellers who are knowingly selling an inferior or synthetic product. Health Europa reports a positive uptick in companies offering testing services to CBD producers and predicts that the cannabis-testing sector of the market is likely to grow by 13.4% by 2025.

In particular chromatography powered cannabis testing is emerging as a powerful and accurate tool to measure safety. Just as governments should be supporting the decriminalisation of cannabis medicines, there is also a need to support rigorous safety and efficacy testing resources.
