These anecdotal stories have yet to be backed up by scientific proof but an article in Medical News Today suggests that it may in fact be the CBD’s ability to manage anxiety that is behind the positive results.
Parents considering giving their children CBD to support ADHD or ADD should run it past their doctor and only considering replacing their medication under supervision. Some parents are using the CBD as well as prescribed treatment such as Ritalin or Adderall with no problematic interactions and are also reporting improvement in overall concentration and attention.
