Much-loved ice-cream company, Ben & Jerry’s is known for its interesting range of flavours and on-trend ideas and now the company has announced it is waiting for the green light to produce a new CBD ice-cream, reports The Independent. The article says that Matthew McCarthy, CEO of Ben and Jerry's, was motivated to create the flavour because customers requested it. The ‘green light’ is the FDA’s approval of the use of CBD in foods, an issue that is currently under scrutiny by the US’s top regulator.
